VA Loma Linda Healthcare System is seeking a Board Certified Nephrologist with research experience and a track record of external funding. Academic appointment at Loma Linda University at the associate professor level or higher is strongly preferred. There is a large research group on site studying bone and mineral metabolism with potential for collaboration. Located in Southern California about 60 miles east of Los Angeles where the cost of living is more affordable. This Medical Center is a 147 bed acute care hospital affiliated with Loma Linda University and is a major teaching site for medical students and numerous post-graduate programs, including a nephrology fellowship. The successful applicant will join a group of nephrologists who manage all aspects of nephrology.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field.
