    YOU WILL DEPLOY TO SOUTHWEST ASIA IN A TEMPORARY DUTY (TDY) STATUS APPROXIMATELY 90% OF THE TIME. You will be responsible to develop, monitor, & coordinate Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) plans to support the activities of the assigned Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Reconnaissance, Surveillance (C4ISR) systems throughout its life cycle. Develop supporting data, research & coordinate logistics support requirements & methodologies; integrate logistics analysis data into a comprehensive logistics program management & guidance document; prepare cost forecasts & budget estimates for the ILS segment of the equipment/system short & long-term requirements. Participate in or assist on equipment/system requirement & design reviews & logistics in-process review conferences. Analyze policies, procedures, & regulatory requirements. Prepare briefings, reports, analyses & recommendations to assist in future formulations of logistics program planning & execution.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Qualified candidates for this position must show in their resume that they possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower pay/grade (GS-09) in federal service that demonstrates the following: 1) Knowledge of C4ISR systems/equipment and maintenance requirements to effectively develop, monitor, and coordinate ILS plans throughout its life cycle; 2) Knowledge of the theories and principles of Logistics Management and Integrated Logistics Systems (ILS) planning; 3) Knowledge in analytical and evaluative techniques to issues and studies involved in ILS planning concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of logistics program operations; 4)Knowledge of laws, regulations, policies, and precedents affecting ILS planning; 5) Knowledge of ILS support needs of assigned programs, systems, equipment, and components; 6) knowledge of regulations and practices pertaining to programming and budgeting for logistics functions. **ADDITIONAL VACANCIES MAY BE FILLED FROM THIS ANNOUNCEMENT** ***CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT***: This is an emergency essential (E-E) position. In the event of a crisis situation, the incumbent, or designated alternate, must continue to perform the E-E duties until relieved by proper authority. The incumbent or the designated alternate may be required to take part in readiness exercises. The position cannot be vacated during a national emergency or mobilization without seriously impairing the capability of the organization to function effectively; therefore, the position is designated "Key", which requires the incumbent, or designated alternate to be screened from military recall status. 1. The incumbent will deploy to Southwest Asia in a Temporary Duty Status approximately 90% of the time. 2.The incumbent is required to successfully complete a specific formal individual development training program. 3. The position may require the incumbent to travel to hostile environments. 4. Extensive overtime will be required.
