About the Position: Employees occupying these positions will provide emergency support to disaster stricken areas throughout the US. Employees must pass a stringent medical screening and be prepared to live and work in extremely austere conditions. Work schedule will initially be arduous, with much overtime. Sleeping arrangements may be limited to using a sleeping bag or in the vehicle used to move from location to location. The duty station for pay purposes for these positions is Kennewick, WA with possible 100% TDY Temporary Duty (TDY) in various locations throughout the US.

Investigates accidents to determine specific causes & nature of injuries to identify trends & areas requiring special emphasis. Conducts general safety training in safe work practices & equipment operations. Prepares safety SOPs & evacuation plans for local application of safety requirements. Promotes Awareness of the Facility Disabilities Program through periodic training of supervisors & managers. Coordinates actions for the hiring & placement of individuals with disabilities. Reviews current Facility regulations & policies & makes recommendations for updating, changing, or rescission. Provides recommendations to management regarding the requirements of pertinent directives. Using internal database & spreadsheets gathers & disseminates Review & Analysis (R&A) data. Plans work, independently develops analytical methods & detailed study procedures. Develops, consolidates & maintains Center Plans.
