JOB SUMMARY:The Tricare Management Activity (TMA) mission is to manage TRICARE, the Department's medical and dental programs under which members of the uniformed services, their dependents, and other beneficiaries are entitled to DoD health care. The TMA also supports the Military Departments in execution of the Departments' medical mission to provide, and to maintain readiness to provide, medical and dental services to members of the Armed Forces during military operations.

This announcement is used to fill multiple vacancies at the National Intrepid Center of Excellence (NiCoE) at Defense Center for Excellence (DCoE).   The NICoE is an advanced facility dedicated to research, diagnosis and treatment of military personnel and veterans suffering from mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI) and Psychological Health (PH) issues.  The NICoE is designed to provide the most advanced services for advanced diagnostics, initial treatment plan and family education, introduction to therapeutic modalities, referral and reintegration support for military personnel and veterans with mTBI, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and/or complex psychological health issues. Further, the NICoE conducts research, tests new protocols and provides comprehensive training and education to patients, providers and families while maintaining ongoing telehealth follow-up care across the country and throughout the world.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

You must have one year of specialized experience at a level close to the work of this job that has given you the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities required to successfully perform. Typically we would find this experience in work within this field or a field that is closely related.

Special Requirements

In accordance with Executive Order 12564, applicants selected are required to submit to a drug test and receive a negative drug test result prior to appointment. In addition, this position is a drug-testing designated position (TDP) subject to random testing for illegal drug use.

Selectee will be required to complete and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, prior to entering the position and annually thereafter.
