About the Position: NOTE: You must possess at least a current Fourth Grade Engineer's License issued by the state of Maryland or the district of Columbia, equivalent license from another state, or a Fourth Grade Engineer Certificate issued by the National Institute for the Uniform Licensing of Power Engineers.
This position is located in Adelphi, Maryland which is in Prince Georges County, a metropolitan area, bordered to the south by Washington DC and to the north by Baltimore. It is approximately 30 miles south of Baltimore and the White Marsh area, and 10 miles north of Washington DC.
The Garrison-Adelphi provides the installation capabilities and services to support expeditionary operations in a time of persistent conflict, and to providew a quality of life for Soldiers and Families commensurate with their service.

In a developmental capacity, you will perform the full range of operations, maintenance, and repair of high-temperature water (HTW) generators and chillers, including related equipment within the central Heat/Chill plant. The central plant consists of (4) 12,500,000 BTUH and (1) 5,000,000 BTUH HTW generators, (2) 1,000 ton, (2) 800 ton and (1) 500 ton centrifugal chillers and all related equipment and systems. You will perform the full range of operations, maintenance, and repair of steam and hot water boilers, unfired steam generators, and house air compressors throughout the installation, including related equipment and system.
